Corruption Raj Versus Modi Sarkar

1. During the Congress party rule, Corruption in Bharat was so rampant that PM Rajiv Gandhiji had to say, "If I send one rupee to help the poor and the weak, only 15 paisa reaches the needy." 2. The intermediaries who stole the 85 paisa were up in arms when Modiji brought the digital revolution, making it impossible for the middlemen to siphon off money. Now, government aid reaches the poor farmer's account directly. There's no scope for the intermediaries anymore. 3. The middlemen demonized Modiji's Digital Revolution, saying it was anti-poor and anti-farmer because many farmers don't know how to use the internet or manage bank accounts. They called Modiji a friend of the wealthy and a foe of the weak. In reality, Modiji was silently empowering the poor and the weak. 4. Imagine the extent of corruption if 95% of the government's aid for the poor went to the middlemen? That is why, even though the Congress party initiated many sc...

How far has the Congress party strayed away from Mahatma Gandhiji's views?

1. Gandhiji was against alcohol and drugs. He recommended legislation to ban these addictive substances completely. However, many friends and partners of the Congress party today openly endorse these things.   2. Gandhiji was against foreign interference in Indian affairs. He wanted to promote Swadeshi, Swaraj, and Self-reliance. Today, Narendra Modi ji is advocating these ideas. The Congress has forgotten all of these.   3. Gandhiji worshipped cows and hated the caste system. He didn't like caste based segregation or discrimination. However, the Congress today wants to use caste as the primary criterion to dispense aid and reservations.    4. Gandhiji was against missionaries converting Dalits to other faiths. He even called Dalits "cattle-brain"– people with a lesser brain capacity than others to decide for themselves. He was wrong about it scientifically and anthropologically. Still, many Gandhians hold on to his Anti-Conversion...

My views regarding the Pointless Language Rows in Maharashtra and Karnataka

Mumbai belongs to Bharat, not just to the Marathi people. Bengaluru belongs to Bharat, not just to Kannadigas. The people who argue for regional languages as the only languages to be used in their particular states better get a separate Mumbai or Bengaluru passport or citizenship.  Bharat, that is, India is one. It is the Opposition group that is trying to divide our nation on regional and linguistic grounds. At first they tried using religion and caste. After the government consented to a caste census, they are creating unnecessary regional controversies to attract certain vulnerable vote banks.  The constitution of Bharat states that the official language of Bharat is Hindi in Devanagri script (Article 343). The second official language (allowed for 15 years from 1950) was (is) English. The twenty-two scheduled languages are official only in the places where they are spoken by the majority, not all over India. For instance, nobody can expect a government official in Kerala t...

Overcoming Sinful Nature: A Thought-Provoking Parallel between the Gita and Paul’s Letter to the Romans

According to Prof. Wright, like Exodus, Romans also has three main moments delineated in chapters 6-8. God first liberates his people from slavery. Similarly, in Romans 6, God frees people who are slaves of sin through Baptism into Christ. Second, God gave the Israelites the Torah, a set of commandments, and asked them to obey it. Moses warned them of an exile if they failed to obey. In the parallel scripture, Romans 7 portrays the failure of a devout Torah-observer to obey it fully. Finally, God deals with people's sins via the animal sacrifices in the Tabernacle and comes to dwell with them. Likewise, in Paul's understanding, God dwells in people through His Spirit after declaring them victorious over sin by offering His Son as a sacrifice for sin (Romans 8). [1]   Interestingly, Gita 18:59-61 also offers a subtle parallel, albeit based on a different philosophical understanding. The 59th verse, similar to Romans 6, explains the condition of a person b...
