The Church: From Charity to Politics

The church was originally intended to be a community of Christ-centered, Spirit-filled people who would share the message of Jesus’ resurrection and his return by serving those in need, such as the weak, the outcast, the sick, the poor, orphans, widows, and beggars. Today, however, it often seems more like a political organization led by wealthy individuals who live in luxury and sometimes contribute to injustice rather than justice. This shift has led to actions that can humiliate the poor and mistreat the vulnerable. I'm talking about the worldwide political group that supports corrupt terrorist-lovers who want to break apart families and countries. They either support homosexuality, abortions, drugs, alcoholism, gender change, or show no mercy. In some cases, the global church appears to support divisive agendas or show a lack of compassion on important social issues.
