The Lub-Dub Testament: A Loving Manoj's Prayer for a Life Lo..ong Bride
Disclaimer: My poems are a work of art. Any coincidental semblance to people living or dead is a mystery known only to Heaven, or a beautiful collision of the temporal and the divine. While the theology is absolute, the romance is highly explosive, and the characters within are heavily armored in grace. Any resemblance to actual events is purely a manifestation of a heart playing for keeps—so grab a lemon soda, buckle up, and read at your own heartbeat’s risk.
They say romance is dead and theology is boring. Clearly, they haven't met a Loving Rascal with a prayer on his lips and mischief in his heart. Grab a lemon soda, brace your heartbeat, and look to the skies—because Manoj is playing for keeps, and this lifelong flight has officially been cleared for takeoff. Let's dive in to the ultimate Living Delight...
The Lub-Dub Testament: A Loving Manoj's Prayer for a Life Lo..ong Bride
Love I seek, no lust of flesh,
But a living, loyal, loving, vibrant relationship.
Lub dub, lub dub, my heart beats,
As I chase the dream of my lifetime.
No haste will fix my love for you,
For it is a lifelong commitment that I seek.
When you appeared again, it was like *Phanerotai*—
Bursting out of God’s own space.
Jesus will come again, and so did you;
In love we don't do business, for love is a heart business,
And it keeps my heart alive.
For you are the true love of my life.
Honouring parents will give you a wife,
A long life, and lifelong prosperity—
The fifth commandment, the only one with a promise.
I remember how you came to see me on that day,
Approaching from the left, flashing the five-sign,
Catching me completely off-guard.
It feels like yesterday.
When I had given up and looked to Heaven divine,
Asking for love to find its way back into my life,
Out of all the girls I had ever seen,
I saw only you as worthy of living it.
Why, O God, did you give me a heart
That pounds *lub dub* every time I see her?
Love I seek, no lust of flesh,
But a living, loyal, loving, vibrant relationship.
Lub dub, lub dub, my heart beats,
As I chase the dream of my lifetime.
No haste will fix my love for you,
For it is a lifelong commitment that I seek.
The Lord is good, as they say.
The Good came from the right to hold me tight,
To do no half-measures, but to confirm our flight.
My lifeline, my lifetime—my heart stopped for a minute or two.
Who can endure a delightful shock so pounding,
Delivered with a punch of *Phanerotai* from heaven divine?
I thanked the good Lord, just as I had prayed:
You are the good I seek; I am the good you seek.
Then why play hide-and-seek?
Be my wife and my delight, let’s live a long life,
To show that the Lord's son has wooed and claimed his bride—
To be his only living, loving, loyal wife.
The vision of Ephesians and the working models could not complete,
But the Lord’s son made perfect his plan.
By his self-giving love, he perfects his bride.
Though we wrinkle together as we stay loyal,
In God's Kingdom, we are the unwrinkled, unblemished husband and wife.
Love I seek, no lust of flesh,
But a living, loyal, loving, vibrant relationship.
Lub dub, lub dub, my heart beats,
As I chase the dream of my lifetime.
No haste will fix my love for you,
For it is a lifelong commitment that I seek.
The New Testament makes us more than conquerors;
In Romans, we see that romance never comes to an end.
The Lord, by His Spirit, intercedes from within us both.
What the *Nomos* was powerless to do due to sinful flesh,
The *Logos* did—for he is the Good News.
You are my good news, and I seek to be your good, too.
The same Torah that once killed has become a life source,
To the loyal ones whose sins the Son lifted away upon the cross.
The sin punished, the curse undone—what could now condemn?
Death, decay, and deceit did not win;
Life, love, and loyalty conquered every single bit of it.
Together, Ephesians and Romans convey the same story made new.
God's son loved his bride with a love so deep,
He continues his romance even until the age to come.
It is already, all is ready—but not yet.
From Heaven's viewpoint, until the *Parousia* happens,
And the Messiah appears through the locked curtain again.
As for us, we are ready to be a living couple,
Loyal to a commitment lifelong.
Until he comes, our wrinkly skin will stand witness to his undying love.
The wrinkles will speak volumes as we grow old together,
Living out this life testament,
While our hearts continue to beat *lub dub, lub dub* every time we meet.
Love I seek, no lust of flesh,
But a living, loyal, loving, vibrant relationship.
Lub dub, lub dub, my heart beats,
As I chase the dream of my lifetime.
No haste will fix my love for you,
For it is a lifelong commitment that I seek.
No one can separate us, said Paul;
Nothing can set us apart from the loving Lord.
After going through thick and thin, we still find ourselves *en Christo*, forever.
Likewise, we stick together as Messiah and Lord—
The man of Jesus, and his Living love.
For we are not two, but one,
Just as the Lord's son and his loyal bride.
Oh, what beauty this lifelong commitment brings—
The undying love of living loyalty.
My body is yours fully, just as Messiah gave his body for his bride.
And so I give my heart and soul wholly;
You are my delight, delight in me only—
The living, loyal, loving wife that you are to be.
May the *Logos* cleanse us with its logic,
As we trust his magic in our life to come.
Lub dub, lub dub, my heart goes wild as I continue to write,
As I continue to delight.
You are my ice cream, you are my good, you are my tasty food,
You are my lemon kebab and my lemon soda, too.
I drank lemon tea, milk coffee, and tea with milk,
But in everything, your goodness smiled at me.
For what can separate a man from his wife?
Tea, milk tea, coffee, or lemon tea? Nothing!
As Paul observed, no weapon of the evil one shall prosper.
Nothing can separate you from my love.
I am your Christ, King, and Messiah in Him,
For I overlook our mistakes, for this love is true.
Love covers and never betrays.
I crave your loyal love, filled with that same passion and anxiety,
Like when you came running down to run with me,
As you played volleyball just to hold me in you.
The same passion with which you found me,
As you *Phanerotaid* out of thin air in the dark night.
The gate, the guards—all stood still as I saw your face,
Gleaming through the dark.
Brown, red, maroon—was that you?
My heart went *lub dub* faster than I ever knew.
Love I seek, no lust of flesh,
But a living, loyal, loving, vibrant relationship.
Lub dub, lub dub, my heart beats,
As I chase the dream of my lifetime.
No haste will fix my love for you,
For it is a lifelong commitment that I seek.
As I imagine massaging your aching long calves with my love filled techniques, humbling myself to be a husband divine who laid himself down to lift up his bride.
With a little help from the Shaper,
I am yours only. 😘
My loving loving loyal lifetime lub-dub.
