Random Thoughts on Secularism, Reservation, and Islamophobia
In India, the first-class citizens –OBC & Muslim– get reservations in jobs & education. The second-class citizens -General Hindus– don't get any benefits. Amazingly, in Pakistan also, the first-class citizens are Muslims. Thus, they get special treatment in both countries of ex-British India. In both these countries, Hindus enjoy fruitful second-class citizenship. Secular parties of India fight for the remaining rights of Muslims & OBCs, who together constitute 40-50% of India. If they decide, by 2050, they will make India an OBC-Islamic Republic. General Hindus are now looking for new places to live. Many of them are migrating to other countries like Nepal and Nepal and Nepal.
Pakistan is a religious (Islamic) country. But India is secular. In India, nobody –including Tharoor– knows that secular means no religion. They redefine secularism as pluralism. Why? Almost everyone in India has a religion. There may be 1% real and secular atheists. The Preamble of our Constitution cannot ignore this one percent. It says that India is a Secular & Socialist Republic. All our main parties –Congress & BJP– are 100% socialist. 🥳 However, they choose their secular candidates only after a temple visit & prayers. They choose Hindu candidates for Hindu constituencies, OBC for OBC, & Muslims for Islamic areas. Muslim League is the most secular party.
Secularism is a great virtue. We become more Secular after visiting a mosque or a church. However, if we visit temples regularly, only God can protect us from becoming religious beasts. We will protect the Preamble of our Constitution with all our might. Nevertheless, the 4th thing people identify us by after our name, address, & parents' name is our Religion. The next thing is our Caste. Many Indians cannot leave that column blank without risking a job opportunity. Soon, a secular party will do a caste census to identify more & more worthy reservation candidates for jobs and higher education. Religion & Caste decide our job & education chances, but we are a 100% Secular country.
Terrorism is my favorite Islamic chapter in history. Islamic terrorists have produced so many organizations and conducted successful attacks that I am losing count. Terrorists are everywhere. They have pulled off remarkable terror attacks to the ends of the world. I wonder which place they have left untouched. They have scared the West (UK, USA, Russia) and the East (India, Pak, China) alike. Soon, they will reach the Moon and Mars, perhaps before Elon Musk. After that, this form of Neo-Terrorism will find a new mention in the book. The book promises each terrorist a paradise full of quality whisky and sexy prostitutes (Huris).
Thus goes the narrative of many Muslims: All other religions are religions. Islam is secular. There's Islamophobia everywhere in the world. In India, Muslims get full citizenship rights and Muslim Quota reservation (the icing on the cake). But it is actually Islamophobia and persecution. In reality, the only loving people live in Pakistan and Afghanistan. They love Christians, Jains, and Hindus very much. Pakistan is giving Hindus and Christians second-class citizenship and exit Visas regularly. It is a blessing in disguise.
There's no Hindu-phobia anywhere in the world. Arabs are now worshipping Hindu gods and goddesses because they love Hindu people and their faith. Now, Arabs are giving Hindus full citizenship rights and reservation quotas (only for poor Hindus). Similarly, there is no Christian-phobia anywhere in the world. Arabs now give double promotions to many Christ-followers of the Arabian Peninsula into Paradise. Many Arab Christians are now in Paradise, not in Arabia. Impressed by the fantastic, secular, pluralistic Arabian leadership script, America and Europe want to follow the same model. They want to make America Islamophobia-free. If there are no Muslims, how can there be Islamophobia?
So, what is my point? Honestly, Terrorism, Corruption, and (unfair) Reservation systems have no place in our country. We need a country that values merit and quality more than freebies and bribes. People must be accountable for Swachh Bharat. They must be fined for spitting in the open, littering the streets, and passing urine on the roadside. The government must give contracts only to those contractors who can maintain the road in good (pothole-free) condition for 5-10 years.
Government offices, schools, and officers must work more efficiently. People take these positions for granted. They don't work efficiently and don't let others work. We need a MIGA DOGE in Hindustan. Why should we waste our resources on unproductive endeavors? The government needs to implement a hire-and-fire system to increase efficiency. Many guys just assume their lifelong salaries without working responsibly. And what are the reservations in jobs all about? It's time we follow America and make our government efficient.
