Let Us Fight Terrorism

Lately, some people, particularly democrats, have been glorifying the heinous acts of Hamas terrorists, saying that they are fighting for their freedom. However, in reality, terrorists are not freedom fighters. They are human rights violators. Terrorists kill, steal, rape, take captive innocent civilians. They use civilians as human shields, and seldom do they fight soldiers face-to-face. They are afraid of patriots and soldiers. Terrorism anywhere is a threat to peace anywhere. Therefore, we must pray that God will end Terrorism everywhere because it is not the right way to fight for any cause.

Further, there are other, more honorable ways to fight for freedom and fight against injustice. India had a nonviolent freedom fighter, Gandhi, and so did South Africa, Nelson Mandela. We need to follow the nonviolent ways of Jesus, Gandhi, and Mandela, not the violent ways of Hamas and Hezbollah. Hatred destroys, and love builds up. Injustice cannot overcome injustice. Hatred cannot overcome hatred. Only love can do it, as Martin Luther King Jr. famously said. In contrast, the sanctified freedom fighters of Hamas raped innocent women, killed children, and took several people as hostages on October 7.

On New Year's Day, a man named Shamshudeen Jabbar killed fifteen innocent civilians in New Orleans. He deliberately drove a pickup truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street. The police killed the attacker in a shootout. They found ISIS flags in his vehicle. ISIS had influenced and radicalized Jabbar. He posted his desire to kill people on social media before carrying out the attacks. The FBI called "the attack an act of terrorism." All we can do is to pray for such people that God would erase hatred from their hearts. Only God can comfort the families of the victims. (CBS News)

Therefore, America and other Western countries must never trivialize the threat of Terrorism and put the lives of their civilians at risk. Instead, they need to educate people about how they could be radicalized and protect innocents by strengthening law enforcement.
