Repent and Turn to God lest you too shall Perish (Luke 13:3)
Dear friends, we are not any Hamans or Balaams. We are Christ-followers from Hindu families trying to survive in our faith. We have no political power or influence. Nobody gives us money to follow Jesus, to see dreams, or to pray. Our only influence is God and his Word. God speaks to his people through dreams and visions as you believe. We also believe the same things.
If God revealed to Jeremiah that Nebuchadnezzar would conquer Israel, it is not Jeremiah's fault. Jeremiah spoke what he heard. You cannot force the Holy Spirit to speak whatever you want to happen. Even if Nebuchadnezzar is Powerful, God knows how to protect his dear ones. "My just ones shall live by faith/faithfulness." In other words, "my just ones would remain faithful come what may."
When Elijah prayed, God stopped the rain. Israel's King believed that the famine was Prophet Elijah's fault. However, God's word reveals that God was angry with Israel's idol worship. Ahab couldn't see the invisible God of his forefathers. But he could see God fulfilling his word through Elijah. Israel's problem was with God, not Elijah. What use is shooting the messenger if the message seems undesirable?
Even so, Ahab blamed Elijah for Israel's misfortune. God gave Ahab many opportunities to repent from idolatry and turn to him. But Ahab remained adamant in his path. God didn't show Prophet Micaiah many positive things about King Ahab. Ahab tortured Michaiah in jail. Even so, Ahab could not escape his fate. We all know the story. Therefore, "Repent of your sinful ways and follow God lest you perish like those Galilieans," as Jesus said.
