Be Merciful if you seek mercy

 

Bengal is burning. Mamata has no mamata toward Hindus. She's busy appeasing the violent Muslim community. A Muslim mob hacked two Hindu men to death, and 400 people fled their homes. Armed Muslim men looted Hindu homes and shops. Did these poor Hindu people create the amended WAQF laws? What's the point of such reckless violence? You say, "Muslims are under threat in Hindustan." To me, it seems that the opposite is true. In the middle of all this, Empuraan is spreading Hinduphobia.

 

In 2002, Muslims incinerated a train full of Hindu pilgrims to Ayodhya. In the Hindu-Muslim riots that ensued, people criticized Modi-Shah for not responding adequately. Today, it was Mamata's turn. She is quiet about the violence done to Hindus and perhaps quietly condoning it. Or is she? Kerala Communists and Socialists are afraid of Sangh Pariwar, but they don't fear injustices done by the Muslim community that they support. Muslims are not the only persecuted people, as some want to believe.

 

On the contrary. Muslims have persecuted many people groups in this country for selfish gains. Kashmiri Pandits is a prominent example. People conveniently ignore the violent side of Islam for votebank politics. The list of Jihadi Terror attacks keeps growing: Mumbai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kargil, Pulwama, and so on. When did Hindus or Christians do such things? Regarding Gujarat, they conveniently forget the train burning (58 people incinerated).

 

India is a country where Muslim brothers are a small minority. Even so, they have equal citizenship rights. They also get reservation quotas for the oppressed class in the OBC category. Muslims are allowed to worship their God freely. They own establishments and live freely. There are laws to protect their rights. We also have IUML, a political party only to protect the cause of Muslims.

 

Do Pakistan, Bangladesh, or Afghanistan offer any of these facilities for Hindus or any other minority? The much-applauded UAE does not even give citizenship rights to people of non-Arab origin or non-Muslim faith. Still, many Muslims spread falsehoods in the UN as if Muslims are under threat in India. We can observe the same contrast in the attitude of the Hindu and Muslim rulers of the past. The battles between Mohammad Ghouri and Prithviraj Chouhan are a classic example. Muslim sources state that Prithviraj Chouhan and Mohammad Ghouri fought only twice. Mohammad defeated Prithvi in the second battle.

 

However, according to other (Hindu-Jain) sources, there were multiple battles between these two kings. Some sources exaggerate the figure even to 22 fights to highlight Prithviraj's mercifulness to Mohd Ghouri. There were multiple (2-8) battles. Ghouri defeated Prithvi in the final one. But Mohammed did not show him any mercy. Every time Prithviraj won, he let Mohammed go unharmed. Instead, Prithvi made Mohd. apologize to the princes whose territories he had annexed before releasing him. The same trend continues worldwide even today. Let those who have ears hear! Delightful are the merciful; they shall receive mercy (Matt 5:7).
