Time for a Change, Keralam!
“Nobody respects a prophet in his hometown.” (Mark 6:4) Che-(q)ue-vara must have worked overnight to get the CPI(M) a Mayor in Calicut after five years of non-performance. The PM Taj road, Bashir road, and many other roads in the middle of the city need repair. There is no proper waste management throughout Calicut. Besides broken roads and pathetic footpaths that need repair, there is a need for urinals, parks, parking spaces, and foot overbridges. We need at least two flyovers on Mavoor Road to address Traffic jams during peak hours. The LDF government does not even have an action plan to build at least one. Or at least restrict private car entry between 9-11 am and 4-6 pm to manage traffic. The left promised us a metro, and delivered more potholes in main roads than before.
The mayor and deputies are clueless about people’s needs. Why do you want to become anything? Why don't you let those with a vision for development win? Your leaders ask us to hail the Hamas Terrorists after promising us Tourism Development. The Communist Party has failed to deliver development, curb inflation, tackle unemployment, and revitalise tourism. Instead, they are focusing on non-issues: Hamas Terrorism and Hindu hatred. The CM is spending more money on himself and his family than on the underprivileged. We had great hopes, but they destroyed them all. Since both fronts have failed, we try NDA. You can no longer promise Tourism development and then make us recite slogans to glorify the Terrorists. The same fate awaits Rahulji’s team, who whitewashed the terrorists and tarnished our military.
Lord Ayyappa and Allah are fighting for dominance in Kerala. The slogans “Vande Mataram” (The freedom fighters’ slogan) and “Allahu Akbar” (the religious slogan abused by Terrorists) are also engaged in the same fight. Meanwhile, Modiji has made Trivandrum a smart city and inaugurated the long-awaited Vizhinjam seaport. Rahulji’s Indi-alliance, which called Adani a thief, has graciously handed him the responsibility of running the seaport. Either he is lying, or he is also as corrupt as he claims Adani and his friends are. These leaders have no clue how people perceive their blatant lies. Once he was busy accusing the EC of stealing votes, but now that the EC has introduced SIR to correct possible wrongs, he is also against the SIR. A few months ago, I saw a video clip in which Rahulji asked, “Who is this Bharat Mata?”
Rahulji does not even know the Bharat Mata, whose temple Mahatma Gandhiji had inaugurated in 1936. My answer to him is that if you have any Bharatiya senior women in your home, that is the image of Bharat Mata. We are not ashamed or afraid to serve and respect our country as we honour our mothers. We worship God, but metaphorically we consider our country as our mother. We will protect it patriotically. Bharat is the Sanskrit name of our country. Most of us prefer this name over a mispronounced Ινδός or its Latin derivative India. The name Bharat also avoids the confusion of religious identities. We are all Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) people: Bharatiya Muslims, Bharatiya Christians, Bharatiya Jains, Bharatiya Buddhists, Bharatiya Christ-followers, and Bharatiya Hindus (not Nepali or Fiji Hindus).
People need real development with peace. They hate corruption and the ostentatious lives of politicians. The Indi has no vision for Bharat's development. They have no passion for the soldiers of Bharat, who die daily protecting our lives at the border, particularly from the Pakistani terrorists. These leaders are interested only in vote-banking Muslims with welfare schemes that would selectively favour their community. The vote-banking has gone on to such an extreme that now they want all Hindus of the Congress party to chant “Allahu Akbar.” Their CM of Telengana said: “The Congress means Muslim and Muslim means Congress.” Then, what about Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, Hindus, and Christians in a pluralistic, multi-religious society? The Congress and Communists want us to say “Hail Hamas” instead of “Vande Mataram.”
Until now, Muslims have blamed Hindus for resisting Love Jihad and Hijab. Now, Christian schools are resisting the Hijab, and Christian politicians are fighting against Love Jihad. So, who is against the freedom of religion of Muslim minorities in Bharat: Hindus or Christians? Religious Freedom does not mean that schoolchildren refuse to wear the uniform and demand special rights to wear their religious clothes. It also does not mean that we replace Bharat’s culture with Arabic or British culture and force others to comply. It means we have the freedom to serve, trust, and worship our God. Religious Freedom is the right to know God better in a non-violent and loving way. If you hold the good news, you must become good news to others. If you have good news, they will believe it. Modiji visited a Church on Christmas. When will Rahul Gandhiji go to the “Hey, Ram Mandir?”
When Yogi did Bulldozer treatment against Gunda Raj, it was Haram. Now, when Ramayya of Congress does it in Karnataka, is it Halal? The Congress party had criticized Yogiji for bulldozer action. The Karnataka CM is doing the same thing. Will it become halal practice if he does it? Perhaps, now, it is Halal according to Revanth Reddy also because he believes that Congress means Muslim, and Muslim means Congress.
Honestly, we need to value our Swadeshi products, such as Khadi and indigenous systems of medicine (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy), instead of being slaves of the West. In many things, our systems are more helpful than the Western commodities and ways of life that we are addicted to. When they sell their medicine, their dance, their art form, their English language proficiency test, or their technology to us, they make money out of us. When will we develop something we can sell? When will we show confidence in the things they are interested in buying from us? The BJP 's first agenda is respect for what is Bharat's. The second is development with peace and inclusivity. They want our country to return to our founding principles (Gandhiji's principles) of Swadeshi, Swaraj, and Self-reliance.
The BJP focuses on cultural Bharatiyata, or Bharatiya Sanskriti, rather than a particular religious belief. The emphasis is on Bharatiya culture, languages, arts, architecture, and technological development. They are recapturing not only the Freedom fighters' slogan 'Vande Mataram,' but also their vision of a Self-governing and Self-reliant Bharat that trades Swadeshi products. Modiji's model is one of development, with inclusivity, without corruption, terrorism, or selective welfare for any community for votes. The BJP does not support alcoholism, drugs, or tobacco. Recently, Bharat Sarkar has reduced GST and income taxes. Ours is now the fastest-growing economy with 8.2% GDP growth. Therefore, we ought to choose the BJP for the growth of our country. May Bharat honour Jesus and Jesus’ people honour Bharat. Bharat Mata ki Jai! Jai Masih! Vande Mataram.
