When we celebrate Christmas in the free Bharat, let us honour it as it honours our Jesus
God is love, and the only loving God is Jesus. Messiah Jesus was born to reverse all curses and to bring life where death reigned. Sin led to a curse; God's curse led to death. Death reigns among all humans, and so we all are sinful and accursed. God's gift (or blessing) is everlasting life. Jesus is God's gift. In him is eternal life. He is the blessed one of God who conquered death. Jesus promises resurrection life in the coming age to all those who trust in him. God's plan is simple and beautiful. He sent his son so that he could love you till he died and raise you with him in life. Happy Christmas! When you gift a Bible to your friend today, remember you are reversing death and bringing life, reversing hatred and bringing love.
Traitors mislead many Christ-followers of our country. Until yesterday, some Congress and Communist party leaders claimed that RSS members lynched a Bangladeshi man in Kerala, suspecting him of being a Muslim. Today, the police clarified that the main accused was a Congress party worker. Yesterday, some communist leaders claimed that a BJP worker hurt a Christian carol group. However, Adv. Shone George of the BJP clarified that no BJP members did anything to disturb any Carol group in Palakkad. He was quoting the Christian leadership, the Bishop of the region. The church reported no such carol.
Now, let us address the real questions. Bangladeshi girls and boys captured a thrilling video of a young man being mob-lynched and incinerated by their community. They celebrated the heinous act with loud shouts of Allahu Akbar. Of course, they proved to us that their God is the greatest. Many Muslims of our neighboring countries (Bangladesh and Pakistan) make us feel that their God greatly delights in cruelty and violence against humanity. The massacre at Pahalgaum, verifying the religious identity of non-muslims, was a vicious crime. The brutal incineration of Deepak in Bangladesh was an unconscionable attack on humanity, not just Hinduism.
Recently, a Congress chief minister, Revanth Reddy, said, "Congress means Muslim and Muslim means Congress." The same Khan-gress people also congratulated Muhammad Yunus after he took over Bangladesh violently. If the Congress party has in it the same kind of Muslims that are ruling and rioting in Bangladesh, we don't want such a Muslim Khan-gress to rule Bharat, ever. Rahulji said Adani is a thief. Then, why did his Indi Alliance leaders give the Vizhinjam seaport (Kerala) to Adani to run? Rahulji complains of Vote chori. If fake voters are stealing votes, isn't SIR a good thing? Why is he objecting to it? Only Bharatiya citizens must vote in Bharat. Are Western countries lenient toward those who break their immigration rules? Why do we keep double standards?
Frankly, I cannot support those who whitewash the terrorists and tarnish our military. No matter who becomes the Prime Minister, our military will still be the same. Further, we need to affirm our indigenous cultures, traditions, and languages rather than spread Western cultural values and promote English in our country. If we also abandon our culture, then who will affirm or honor it? We have many cultural ways and festivals that are unique to us. For instance, we remove our sandals before entering a place of worship. Many of our people eat food with their bare hands (fingers), not with forks, knives, and spoons. We must feel ashamed that to learn our indigenous languages, even Sanskrit, we now depend on dictionaries made by Britishers.
Honestly, we need to value our Swadeshi products, such as Khadi and indigenous systems of medicine (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy), instead of being slaves of the West. In many things, our systems are more helpful than the Western commodities and ways of life that we are addicted to. When they sell their medicine, their dance, their art form, their English language proficiency test, or their technology to us, they make money out of us. When will we develop something we can sell? When will we show confidence in the things they are interested in buying from us? The BJP 's first agenda is respect for what is Bharat's. The second is development with peace and inclusivity. They want our country to return to our founding principles (Gandhiji's principles) of Swadeshi, Swaraj, and Self-reliance.
Five hundred years of slavery ended when Bharatiya people celebrated Vande Mataram in the Parliament this month. The Mughal emperor Babur conquered Delhi in 1526. Today, we trust that God has set Bharat free from slavery to the Mughal and the British Empire. Why can't our people govern themselves with the principles of Ahimsa (Non-violence) and Satya (Truth)? Why can't we call our country by its Sanskrit name Bharat? Why can't we respect and serve our country, and say "Vande Mataram" or "Bharat Mata ki Jai" patriotically? Why can't we honor our languages, architectures, and cultures? Why can't we be Self-reliant (Atmanirbhar) and promote our indigenous products (Swadeshi)? Why can't our national language be an indigenous language spoken by most people?
In our schools, we studied only about Akbar Badshah and his Din Ilahi. The old syllabus ignored the harmful elements of the Mughal Empire. Instead, it wanted us to celebrate the invaders and temple raiders as our kings. We are all against vandalism of religious institutions. However, what is happening in Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and China to Christian institutions is much more pathetic in comparison to what happens in Bharat. Let us not blow things out of proportion. Bharat is one of the most religiously tolerant countries in the world. The minorities receive reservations and preferential treatment in our country. Whereas, in Pakistan, they are tortured and sent off.
Is there a Bharatiya Christianity? We must develop it rather than become slaves to Western civilization. We need to engage our understanding of the Christian faith with our Puranas, Vedas, and Tribal texts. Our civilization values all lives, including animal life. We are the proponents of non-violence and peace even before Jesus appeared. Our kings gave refuge to many persecuted Christians, Jews, and Parsis thousands of years before secularism dawned in the West. Bharat is the most inclusive nation in the world. Look at the number of philosophies, ideologies, and religions that originated or thrived in our country. We should respect Bharat a little more than we do. Ironically, Bharat's PM protects Sheikh Hasina even as some Bangladeshis burn Deepu alive. PM Bharat attends the church on Christmas day, but the opposition avoids the Ram Mandir. The Bapu loved Hindi and he died saying, "Hey, Ram" in a Mandir. Today's babus love Angrezi and kill the Ram in the Mandir.
The BJP focuses on cultural Bharatiyata, or Bharatiya Sanskriti, rather than a particular religious belief. The emphasis is on Bharatiya culture, languages, arts, architecture, and technological development. They are recapturing not only the Freedom fighters' slogan 'Vande Mataram,' but also their vision of a Self-governing and Self-reliant Bharat that trades Swadeshi products. Modiji's model is one of development, with inclusivity, without corruption, terrorism, or selective welfare for any community for votes. The BJP does not support alcoholism, drugs, or tobacco. Recently, Bharat Sarkar has reduced GST and income taxes. Ours is now the fastest-growing economy with 8.2% GDP growth. Therefore, we ought to choose the BJP for the growth of our country. May Bharat honour Jesus and Jesus’ people honour Bharat.
