The Law and the Kat Putli: The frequent torture of the Supreme Court by Conversion Vigilantes in Fatehpur

The UP police arrested a sexagenarian pastor and his son on Sunday “under the Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Religious Conversion Act.” [1] The pastors no allegedly luring Hindu women, promising them employment, money, and free education for their children. [2] They also offered household items. The pastors spoke offensively against Hindu deities and offered the complainer ₹ 1,100 to remain silent. [3]   The Pastors visited the village often and gave the villagers images of Jesus Christ to keep in their homes. They forced the villagers to attend Sunday services and rewarded financially those who brought people into the church. If they refused, the pastors threatened them with consequences, mentally tortured them, and as a result, some people even tried to die by suicide. [4] The police seized a publicity vehicle and recovered religious literature from it. [5] What do you think?   Honestly, it looks like the fabricated domestic abuse case my Christian wife’s adv...

On the Good Governance Day (December 25th): Bharatiya Christians, Let Us Write to create Peace not Panic

Today, I wore a BJP cap normally. My local area councillor is a BJP, and we support him. I just boarded an auto rickshaw. The rickshaw driver, a good Muslim man, asked me out of curiosity, “What is this on your head?” I replied, smiling: “It is a cap.” I was not welding a gun or a sword. I carry a Bible in my heart and in my bag. However, I have never asked any good Muslims about the caps that they wear. And never asked it in a demeaning way, “What is on your head?” I write this to give you a perspective on how things look and how certain factions make them appear. We, Christians, should write to create communal harmony, not panic or disharmony.   The Catholic Connect did a piece on violence against Christians, alleging that the Bajrang Dal organised a rally with over 500 participants. It passed through a “Christian area” surrounding a Catholic church in Thandla, Jhabua district, on Christmas Day. No violence happened, but the catholic reporter states: They c...

Let us spread love, not hatred, even as Modiji and the Sangh celebrate Christmas and Muhammad Yunus' Bangladeshis incinerate Hindus.

Modiji's vision is to develop the infrastructure and institutions of Bharat at a rapid pace so that we won't have to go abroad for higher education, and foreigners will be interested in investing in our country. That is the main difference between the Congress party's socialism model and Modiji's development model. The Congress government never wanted to invest in Premium institutions. From 1947 to 2014, that is, for sixty years, we had only one AIIMS. Atal Bihari and the UPA approved six more colleges, but it never happened until Modiji came. Modiji introduced Digital India and gave farmers their subsidies directly into their accounts. Until then, the intermediaries ate up government grants to farmers, to the point that Rajeev Gandhi said: "If he sanctioned one rupee, only 15 paisa would reach the beneficiary." During the Congress party's rule, corruption was widespread. Nobody knows how much money these middlemen stole from government-sanct...

Time for a Change, Keralam!

“Nobody respects a prophet in his hometown.” (Mark 6:4) Che-(q)ue-vara must have worked overnight to get the CPI(M) a Mayor in Calicut after five years of non-performance. The PM Taj road, Bashir road, and many other roads in the middle of the city need repair. There is no proper waste management throughout Calicut. Besides broken roads and pathetic footpaths that need repair, there is a need for urinals, parks, parking spaces, and foot overbridges. We need at least two flyovers on Mavoor Road to address Traffic jams during peak hours. The LDF government does not even have an action plan to build at least one. Or at least restrict private car entry between 9-11 am and 4-6 pm to manage traffic. The left promised us a metro, and delivered more potholes in main roads than before.   The mayor and deputies are clueless about people’s needs. Why do you want to become anything? Why don't you let those with a vision for development win? Your leaders ask us to hail the Hamas Terrorists ...

Modiji went to a Church, when will Gandhiji go to "Hey, Ram Mandir."

As I write this, we hear of violence against some Christian groups as they celebrate Christmas in Bharat. The BJP is not interested in violence against any minority religious community. If these are independent groups, the leaders need to correct them. Narendra Damodardas Modi ji has conquered Christian hearts today by attending a church in such a time as this. The Prime Minister and his team are welcoming minorities to participate in nation-building. Modiji himself went to a church today. That is the official view of the BJP. We celebrate and respect all faiths in Bharat. Modiji is holding a Bible. I hope it was gifted to him by the Church. I pray that Modiji will read the Bible when he finds time, beginning with Mark's gospel. I hope God will end the misunderstandings between Hindus and Christ-followers in Bharat. Jesus came to love and heal. He is a gentle God, not a violent tyrant. Modiji, a devotee of Maryada Purushottam King Ram, has no problem in admiring such a person. I pr...

When we celebrate Christmas in the free Bharat, let us honour it as it honours our Jesus

God is love, and the only loving God is Jesus. Messiah Jesus was born to reverse all curses and to bring life where death reigned. Sin led to a curse; God's curse led to death. Death reigns among all humans, and so we all are sinful and accursed. God's gift (or blessing) is everlasting life. Jesus is God's gift. In him is eternal life. He is the blessed one of God who conquered death. Jesus promises resurrection life in the coming age to all those who trust in him. God's plan is simple and beautiful. He sent his son so that he could love you till he died and raise you with him in life. Happy Christmas! When you gift a Bible to your friend today, remember you are reversing death and bringing life, reversing hatred and bringing love.   Traitors mislead many Christ-followers of our country. Until yesterday, some Congress and Communist party leaders claimed that RSS members lynched a Bangladeshi man in Kerala, suspecting him of being a Muslim. Today, ...

Immortality in the Coming Age: Are you getting ready for such a life?

God is love, and the only loving God is Jesus Christ. God is faithful to those who trust in him despite evil in the world. The Bible doesn't deny the existence of evil in this world, but it promises a time when God will bring justice to all those who live lovingly and peacefully. Jesus Christ has conquered suffering, death, and decay. He will return and give immortal resurrection bodies to those who believe in him and hold on to their faith despite adversities. After this, these immortal people will reign forever with King Jesus in this world, renewed and transformed into incorruptibility and perfection. Only the people who suffer can know pain and can empathise with those who are in pain. Perhaps that is why God's only son also went through the intense pain of abandonment and rejection. Imagine the passionate intensity of the God who loved the people of this world so much that he gave his life on a cross in shame and disgrace to save them by his resurrection. Jesus' death ...

A Misunderstood Champion of the Weak: Narendra Damodardas Modiji

Ironically, Bharat’s radical Hindu Pradhan Mantri Narendra Damodardas Modi is protecting Sheik Hasina, a Muslim woman, the ex-prime minister of Bangladesh, from the Bangladeshi people. Meanwhile, the present leadership of Bangladesh, which India’s opposition alliance was supporting, is silently condoning the genocide of minorities in Bangladesh. Before Modiji, Atal Bihari Vajpayee played a key role in granting a fleeing Dalai Lama refuge in Bharat. Vajpayeeji even recognized Tibet as an autonomous territory during his tenure as Bharat’s Prime Minister. It shows us the true colours of who people are and what they really believe. If the opposition leaders demonise Modiji again, we won't hesitate to pray against them and ask God to either right their perspective or to remove their authority. Bharat’s Pradhan Sevak has come a long way. Modiji means what he says—Sabka saath sabka vikas (Development with inclusivity). The political proponents of Terrorism, Corruption...

They Snuffed out the Deepak of Bangladesh. His life was a Testament to Religious Freedom.

D ear friends, there's no outrage in our state against the ruthless, brutal, and nefarious killing of Dipu Chandra Das. I watched the heartrending videos a few times. It is a horrific attack on humanity. When people can march out in Kerala for Hamas, why are we silently condoning the killing of an innocent person in Bangladesh? We must hold demonstrations against such atrocities throughout Kerala and Bharat. Where are the 50% Hindus of Kerala? If the 20% Muslims can conduct massive rallies for Hamas to show solidarity with their cause, why can't we? We must rise from our slumber and question the state of religious freedom in Bangladesh. Now is the time to act. Let us make known our angst. I can't believe that there are no Hindu leaders to stand up and conduct a strong, massive, peaceful rally protesting what has happened in Bangladesh. I could not sleep after watching the brutal assault on a person's personhood. They killed him and insulted his body because he said peop...

Why do I believe what I believe?

Many of my friends ask me why do I believe what I believe? That is, why did I become a Christ-follower? It is a good question, and I thank you for asking it. It is not about whether a belief (Hindu or Christian) is true or false. Instead, it is about whether a faith is logical or not. Further, it is about my personal spiritual journey that started with Shri Krishna and Bhagavad Gita in Chinmaya Vidyalaya and culminated in the Holy Bible and Jesus Christ.  The time when I thought carefully and studied deeply about what I believed came in 2002 when I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I was born and raised in a pure-veg, upper-caste, Marwari Hindu family settled in Kerala. Before my conversion to Christ, I thought that Advaita was the answer to my spiritual quest. My religious interest drove me to memorize the Gita. By the 7th standard, I knew almost all of it by heart (Sanskrit transliteration to Malayalam and Hindi). I wanted to attain moksha or union with God, as described in t...

Allahu Akbar use in Azad Bharat by Terrorists: Can God be a Lover of Violence?

In Murshidabad, a Muslim mob killed two innocent Hindus who did not have the power to change the waqf laws. Yesterday, in Bangladesh, an innocent Hindu man was burnt alive, accused of blaspheming against the Islamic prophet. Two years ago, in Rajasthan, a Hindu tailor was cut into pieces by two Muslim men for having a different view. In Delhi, Muslim doctors killed many people in a car blast. In Pahalgam, Jihadis shot 26 people point-blank after confirming they were Hindus. Muslims evacuated Kashmiri Pundits from their native place after a brutal massacre. Until now and ever since, no religious community has forcefully evacuated another religious community like this from any state in Azad Bharat. Peaceful? Bharat's people served two terms of slavery: under Muslim invaders and the British Empire. After much struggle, we got our freedom from being slaves again of a brand of politics that continued the legacy of the British and Mughals. Bharat forgot the freedom motto of Swadesh, Swar...

Why is there a discussion on Vande Mataram in the Parliament?

" Why is there a discussion on Vande Mataram?" asked a Kerala M.P. in the Parliament today. To answer this, let me ask a few counter questions. "Why do we –Bharatvasis– need to discuss Hamas and Israel?" Why should we discuss a centuries-old crisis of two Middle Eastern people when we have hundreds of unresolved issues of our own? "Why should we not discuss Vande Mataram, our national song?" After all, it is Bharat's national song in a non-Hindi indigenous language, not a national song of Palestine or Pakistan. Every Sunday, Christians discuss Jesus' story. They do not discuss it to avoid their real concerns of today's world. Instead, they discuss it to find inspiration and insights to tackle their contemporary problems. Jesus motivates them to remain steadfast in their faith, to endure suffering amid adversity, and to return good for evil. Jesus' story encourages them to fight evil with good and hatred with love. They don't consider it...

Why do we recommend the BJP for Keralam?

I fully support Rajeev Chandra Shekharan Nair in Kerala and T. Ranish in my area, Pottammal. Modiji’s model of good governance and development, free of corruption and selective welfare for particular communities, is commendable. Modiji does not tolerate terrorism. Therefore, we vote for the BJP. Keralam’s problems are alcoholism, drugs, terrorism, lack of infrastructure development and big investors, high rate of inflation, bad roads, and waterlogging during the rainy season (even in main cities). Instead of bringing tourism and development, the left praised the terrorism of Hamas and corruption. Only the BJP stands against drugs and alcoholism. Only the BJP stands against terrorism and corruption. Only the BJP stands for development and opportunities. Only the BJP stands for patriotism and prosperity. Only the BJP stands for justice for farmers and fishermen. Only the BJP stands for the people of faith: Hindus or Catholic Christians. Only the BJP stands for Ayurveda, Unani, Yoga, Sidd...

Is there Islamophobia, or is it a Political Agenda to pressure us?

A cruel God can make you do brutal things. Kashmiri Muslim men deny what they did because it exposes their reality and shames their community. In a Hindu-majority country, they successfully evacuated an entire Hindu community from a state after torturing them brutally. Some call it a systematic genocide. The CM did nothing to protect Hindus or control the violent Muslim mobs. The mob did not need any governmental power to do it. They did it, as they say, without Mr Abdullah's consent.   We can't let it happen again in Bengal or Kerala. Many are the atrocities that Islamic people have committed against Bharat's conscience. They have done it for too long for us to continue to bear and forgive. We must save ourselves because nobody can distinguish between a good Muslim and a bad Muslim. No one can say when and why the good Muslim will turn hostile and attack our people. They can do it without feeling any guilt and have done it in many places. A Kafir is ...
